SDMar provides crew management services for merchant and cruise ships. To handle this service more professionally, two separate departments are formed to comply with specific requirements according to the industry: Marine Personnel Department and Cruise Department
Crew Department Operational
The Crew Department Operational in SDMar is entirely concerned with the seafarers’ working environment. Our seafarers have experience in various vessel types such as breakbulk, general cargo, container cargo, gas tanker, an oil tanker, and chemical tanker for offshore, domestic and international areas. Online registration is provided for candidates to simplify the recruitment process. Integrated Ship Management Systems is used for crew management to streamline database access for deployment and crew rotation. To ensure the qualification of the candidates, experts are involved in the interview stage. And as for the physical fitness check, our medical examination has already been approved by Flag state and P&I. SDMar complies with Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) 2006 and has good cooperation with Seafarer Union, Seacom, Port Authority, Merchant Academy, and Travel Agency.
