Samudera Indonesia established a subsidiary for running the container depot business in 1992. Services provided by this subsidiary include key services such as container handling for off-elevator/lift processes, empty container storage, maintenance & repair, cleaning, trucking, reefer service, and garment on hangers. In addition, there are services such as porta camp, container unit sales & rental, containerized cargo stacking yard, as well as generator rental for reefer containers.
This subsidiary has 8 branches supported by a strategic location and 24-hour operation. Operationally this subsidiary is equipped with IICL Certificate holders surveyors and adequate IT system with daily report feature, automatic CODECO and EDI deliverance, and an accessible online system for customers. The CCTV installed in the depot area also provides added value for the operations safety.
