PT Silkargo Indonesia was officially founded in the year 2003 as one of the subsidiaries of Samudera Indonesia, providing an integrated logistics solution for customers. Even though the company was founded in 2003, it did not become active until 2006.

Silkargo was founded as an expansion of Satuan Harapan, a company which was also owned by Samudera Indonesia, providing EMKL and freight forwarding service to customers. Satuan Harapan itself had existed since 1964.

The changing market demand at that time, complemented with the exponential growth of Satuan Harapan, led the management of Samudera Indonesia to transform the company into Silkargo Indonesia. The business concept was also expanded from partial logistics business into an integrated logistics provider.

PT Silkargo Indonesia is an integrated logistics provider, providing clients with end-to-end logistics solution complemented with a high quality and innovative service. We aim to give our customers the best services so that they can focus on other business aspects other than logistics.

As a subsidiary of Samudera Indonesia, Silkargo is supported by a rich network of business units, each with their own specialization within the supply chain field. 

Customer satisfaction and service quality is our main goal, which is why PT Silkargo Indonesia is equipped with competent workers and a continuously improved IT system. In addition, we are constantly working to expand our network, both internationally and domestically, in the pursuit of that goal.
