Located in Palaran, Samarinda, PT Pelabuhan Samudera Palaran was established as a special purpose company to build and operate Terminal Peti Kemas (TPK) Palaran.
The port construction was motivated by the capacity and facility limitation of Port of Samarinda to handle cargo growth. TPK Palaran is expected to answer the challenge and positively contribute to Samarinda and East Borneo Province specifically and for the nation generally.
